Roaming the Ruins

I got the inspiration from a trip my mom and I took to Rome to visit a friend. My mom drugged me to see the Colosseum and Palatine Hill. After being with a tour group I wanted to get away so we split from the group thinking we could get out faster. We ended up getting lost and it took us a very long time to find our way out. I had made a few short films already but wanted to try an animation because I wanted to test my skills as a cartoonist. The film was selected in the student section of the Inwood Film Festival in March 2020 and was shown at the 187 Film Festival in June 2020.
